Carnival in Venice

The third day in Venice was a slow day but it was the best. Amanda, Chelsea and I woke up late and checked out of the hostel. We wondered over to the Academia where some of the famous Venetian art is. We got in for free with our temporary citizenship!
We then grabbed some lunch and sat on the front steps of a church right on the water. It was bright and sunny and warm, perfect for people watching and chill’n.
We wondered all the way back to the hostel which took a considerable amount of time because of the mass of people. We made it around the whole city. Before our train left that evening Rosie, Chelsea and I had drinks at a café, they got cappuccinos and I had Bellini: a traditional Carnival drink, it ia champagne infused with peach- Yum!
