Day 1- Napoli

The first day of our trip down to Southern Italy was a long drive in the bus. We did stop outside Rome to see Adriane’s Castle, which was ruins but beautiful. It was also raining. We arrived in Napoli around 4pm and went on a walking tour of the city. We visited two churches, one containing the blood of a saint which Neapolitan Catholics try to liquefy twice a year. If it doesn’t liquefy you can expect earthquakes locusts’ drought or maybe a volcanic explosion. We had a group dinner of Napoli pizza, and a very weird dessert.
