Prato's Contemporary Art Museum

My Uffizi class went to the Prato Contemporary art Museum to see different examples of exhibition spaces. It was so nice to be a modern museum- instead of an old church with old religious paintings. There was an exhibit with a contemporary artist from Brazil and a photo exhibit by a Russian artist.
They were interesting and thought provoking. The museum is being remodeled and enlarged. The model to the left is what it will be somday. Makes me think of Star Wars- and I like it!

This is a photo of a "string" drawing.

Interactive Art! We could climb onto into and touch all sorts of things! It was great!
