Yesterday I met mom and dad in Berkley to visit 2 nurseries.The first was Annie's Annuals. It is a huge place with tons of different species to choose from. I picked all plants with pink flowers, I have a thing for pink flowers. I will plant those in a week or two, their roots need more development. I even have a California native! More pictures will follow as they bloom through out the summer.The other nursery is in a lovely residential area in Berkley, Berkley Horticultural Nursery. It was beautifully organized and with good ideas for shady gardens, like mine! I had a very nice time and the weather was perfect. I could see myself living their someday.
