On the return journey I stopped in Ripplewood for lunch ( a less then impressive salad) But it was fun see a new place. I also stopped at another beach south of Carmel, is wasn't a sand beach, it was smooth peach gravel, I want to say alabaster, but what do I know about rocks? Found some sea glass thou! I love driving and seeing new places, I recommend this drive down Hwy. 1.
