This Week I'm Bakeing...

I am Bakeing a Christmas Morning Family Tradition. My store is doing the 12 days of Christmas and this will be my contribution.

Cranberry Bread

1 ½ Cup cranberries
2 C. flour
1 ½ tsp. baking powder
½ tsp. baking soda
1 tsp salt
1 C. sugar
¼ Cup butter – 4 tbls. softened
1 egg- beaten
1 tsp grated orange rind
¾ C. orange juice

Coursely chop cranberries
Combine dry ingredients in Lg. bowl
Cut in butter till crumbly
Add egg, orange rind and juice stirring until
Dry ingredients and moistened
Stir in cranberries
Greased and floured loaf pan
Bake @ 350’ for 55-60 min
Put in 45 min first to test
Cool in pan then remove
