Friday afternoon I decided to join some of the others from my program and play some soccer. O my gosh- I am really out of practice! And out of shape- its two days later and I still can barely move my legs. It was pretty fun playing again and I did a little bit better the bad! After our water break about twenty 8 year old Italian kids wanted to play too- can we say chaos? I sat out because my foot was killing me (from an earlier injury) and because of the feelings I have about children. It was hilarious to see these big kid Americans get their butts kicked by a bunch of little Italians.
